“What is advertised here and what actually happened on the tour, didn’t quite match up. The drive there was way longer and steeper than anticipated, some 13 hours through steep mountains. Okay for those who can handle it, but terrible for those with a scare of hights. The first night in the lodge was nothing to brag about. The morning after we travelled to Manu, which was an improvement. The stop at the humming bird sanctuary was great! The boat ride there was fun, and we saw some interesting birds along the way.
